Model-based systems engineering has been around for some time and MBSE-tools are maturing rapidly. Despite all promises, the adoption of MBSE in the high-tech industry appears to be limited to some niches. How to explain this? Do the benefits of MBSE show in industrial practice? Who has adopted MBSE successfully and how did they do it?

Intelligent diagnostics

As high tech systems evolve, the potential number of failures grows exponentially. At the same time, we expect our systems to be producing 24/7. That puts high demands on diagnosability of these high tech systems: if they fail, one needs to find the error quickly to minimize loss of production or service. In this webinar we will give an overview of the field of intelligent diagnostics, both from the industrial point of view and from the research side: what has been achieved, what is needed in the foreseeable future.
